Betty J. Pesock, 92, of Coudersport, PA

Betty J. Pesock, 92, of Coudersport, PA, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Sweden Valley Manor.

Born July 21, 1921, in Olean, NY, she was the daughter of Mike and Jeanette Major Peeler. On January 16, 1939, she married Frank J. Pesock who preceded her in death March 18, 2002.

Betty worked for many years at local grocery stores and at the City News. She was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church. Among the many things that were dear to her, Betty enjoyed her home and going for walks.

Surviving are her daughter Janet Davis and her husband Buddy of Genesee, PA, her sister Maxine Abbott of West Virginia, 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Frank Pesock and her brother Earl Peeler.

Friends and family are invited to Betty’s Life Celebration on Sunday, May 11, 2014 with a visitation from 7-9pm at the Thomas E. Fickinger F.H. “A Life Celebration Home”, 210 N. East St. Coudersport, PA. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Eulalia Catholic Church Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11am, Rev. James Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the St. Eulalia Catholic Cemetery.

She was a dear person. Had such a tough go as Pinky and young Frank passed. Loved seeing her at City News. Just a sweetheart through and through.
