Some Flooding Still Occurring As Rain Moves East Out of the Area

Rainfall from storm
Rain Moves Out, Leaves Some Flooding

The rainstorm that has affected the area for the last couple of days has ended. Radar doesn't show any significant precipitation in the near future.

Some areas in Tioga County are experiencing flooded roads as a result of around 3 inches of rain from the storm as shown on the radar estimated rainfall amounts.

Middlebury Township seems to be the area most affected and Route 287 has about a foot of water over it in spots. Other low laying spots are also having high water.

Remember don't drive thru flood water, the roadway may have been washed away and you may drown. Sunshine is on the way.
