Student Of The Week Seneca Highlands

Student Of The Week Seneca Highlands

Tom Estes
Tom Estes is currently a senior at Oswayo Valley High School but he is a second year Metalworking student here at the Seneca Highlands CTC. Tom is a well rounded young man inside and out. He cares about the work he does and is quite skilled with good problem solving skills. I appreciate that he tries to problem solve issues before seeking teacher assistance. He demonstrates creativity in his thought process and finding solutions in a variety of situations. His improvement this year was greatly noticed. Tom should receive his PA Skills Certificate. He is active in track, football, and wrestling. I have had the opportunity to work with him for the past two years. I enjoy having him in my classroom and in my shop. He has been a sincere pleasure to work with and I will miss his skills when he graduates.

I like that they are celebrating some of these technical students. Long overdue. Far more important than all the sports talk in the Northern Tier.

Good job Tom.
