Potter County Farmers' Market opens today (Friday) at 1:00 p.m.

Potter County Farmers' Market opens today (Friday) at 1:00 p.m. on the corner of North East and East Second Streets in downtown Coudersport. 

The market features locally grown farm products and locally-crafted items and is held weekly on Fridays. Following are the vendors planning to participate this week:

Fitzgeralds Family Farm: Maple products and jams, jellies and preserves plus a limited amount of honey.

Miles Farm Produce: Spinach, garlic scapes, salad greens, green onions & eggs.

Card Creek Trading Post: Salad greens, chard, artisan breads, biscotti, scones, and baked goods

Marilyn Erickson: Hand-crafted walking sticks

Alpaca Creations: All things alpaca! Hand-knit scarves, convertible and fingerless mittens, insoles, shawls, socks, hats, hand spun and hand dyed yarns by Teresa Genaux, Juried Artisan on the Pa Wilds Artisan Trail. Red Maple Sportswear Dealer.

New Horizons Creamery: Ice cream, yogurt, cheese.

Ross Glen Studios: Pottery, stained glass, rhubarb.

McKeone Nursery: Selection of trees, shrubs, vines, plants plus selection of spring greens.

Why is this always held on a Friday afternoon during working hours? I would love to support these vendors and buy local but I am unable to get there because I work.
