Potter County Fair Draws to a Close
Thank you to everyone who came out
to my table at the Potter County Fair this year. I hope you enjoyed it
as much as I did. And thanks to my family, friends and staff for helping
out! Pictured here are my son Matthew, mom Sandy, daughters Morgan and
Mallory, me and Bill Dunn. The Cameron County Fair is up next on Aug. 3-9, followed by the McKean County Fair on Aug. 9-16.
Congratulations to all of the men
and women who work so hard to make the fair a success. I was happy to
have the opportunity to help recognize their hard work by taking part in
a check presentation from the Pennsylvania Fair Fund. Pictured with me,
left to right, are Dave Erhard, president of the Potter County Fair
Association; Boots Hetherington, special advisor to the governor on
agriculture; Sue Plumstead, secretary of the Potter County Fair
Association; and Natalie Brewer, Plumstead’s granddaughter.

Reminder: Senior Citizens Expo Next Friday
Be sure to stop by the annual Senior Citizens Expo next Friday, Aug. 8, at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Sports and Fitness Gymnasium. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
senior citizens and their caregivers will have the opportunity to talk
with a variety of vendors who provide programs and services to support
our seniors. As always, admission is free and lunch will be served. If
you can’t make it next week, a second expo is planned on Friday, Oct. 10, at the Roulette Fire Hall.
