Farmer's Market Today (Friday) in Downtown Coudersport Starts At 1:00 PM

Let's hope the predicted rain showers will hold off this afternoon as the Potter County Farmers' Market opens from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in downtown Coudersport. In the case of thunderstorms, it may be necessary to close the market early.

Vendors who are planning to participate today include:

Miles Farm Produce: Cucumbers, peppers, onions, spinach, raspberries, blueberries and currants.

Card Creek Trading Post: Artisan breads, biscotti, scones and baked goods, eggs, plus some produce and other surprises.

Alpaca Creations: All things alpaca! Hand-knit scarves, convertible and fingerless mittens, insoles, shawls, socks, hats, hand spun and hand dyed yarns by Teresa Genaux, Juried Artisan on the Pa Wilds Artisan Trail. Red Maple Sportswear Dealer.

Fitzgerald's Family Farm: Maple, honey, jams, jellies and preserves plus some vegetables.

Metzger Heritage Organic Farm: New potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, beets, beet greens, hot and sweet peppers, summer squash and zucchini, leafy head lettuce and fresh herbs.

New Horizons Creamery will not be at the market for the next three weeks.

Other vendors may also be on hand.

The market is set up on Fridays on the lot adjacent to the courthouse square on the corner of East Second (Rt. 6 East) and North East Streets. Parking is available on North East Street.
