wow this is something... so sorry for there loss. But I just can't see how someone just can't or won't eat! Sad she had so much will power... but just couldn't save herself.. such a sad loss..

such a beautiful girl, so very sad that she wasn't helped or couldn't help herself

It's entirely possible that she may have been fighting this illness and even winning, but unfortunately most of these eating disorders have lasting ramifications and long term effects that can jeopardize your health long after you are cured or have it under control. Very sad.

How incredibly brave of her family to put her story out there in the obit. I hope it brings awareness and becomes a way to heal.

I am so shocked and deeply saddened by this. You were such a beautiful, funny, smart girl, who I was lucky enough to call my friend for a brief time in my life. It was so hard to watch you struggle. I have been sick about this news all day. I am heartbroken for your family. I wish I could have done more instead of let us drift apart. I hope you are finally free, Kathleen.

To everyone talking're a profile pic on a message board. Anorexia is a disease, its not like people just CHOOSE not to eat. Don't mock this gorgeous soul with your blatant misunderstanding.
