Leah D. Kreger, 45, of Wellsboro, PA

Leah D. Kreger, 45, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Soldiers & Sailors Hospital, Wellsboro. 

Born January 31, 1969 in Coatesville, PA, she was a daughter of Libby S. Lewis of Galeton, PA and John A. Terry, III. Leah was a 1987 Graduate of Galeton High School. On May 10, 2003 she married Leonard E. Kreger of Wellsboro, who survives. 

Leah worked at Truck-Lite in Wellsboro for 27 years. 

She was a member of St. Bibiana’s Catholic Church in Galeton and enjoyed flea markets, sewing, crafts, camping, amusement parks, road trips and her cats. Leah was a kind, easy-going, and fun person and will be greatly missed. 

Surviving in addition to her husband, Leonard Kreger and her mother, Libby Lewis, are a daughter, Paige N. Kreger, Westfield; a brother, Michael T. (Candy McNeely) Lewis, Westfield; and a nephew, Alec M. Lewis. 

Leah was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Flora H. Clendenin. 

Friends may call at the Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Galeton, on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00pm and on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 10:00am to 11:00am with Funeral Services following at 11:00am. The Rev. Canon Gregory P. Hinton will officiate. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Animal Care Sanctuary in Wellsboro.
