It’s a head scratcher that’s for sure. How someone who has plead guilty to child porn, and then to rape can only get two months in jail as opposed to another who is pulled over, marijuana and a gun are found in the car and they MUST serve 5 years in completely insane. Backwards if you ask me…

Where are our State Representatives in all of this? Our Law Enforcement, First Responders, Ambulance Services, and Hospitals are dealing with Bath Salt users, and other Drug related issues several times a day. Most of those agencies are getting paid mere pennies on the dollar because these abusers are on Welfare. Now we are going to PAY them for their "pain and suffering" when the courts finally get the opportunity to take them off the streets? And sex offenders too? Unreal. WRITE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES!

Truth is most of these mandatory sentences are plea barganed away by the DA.

We passed Obamacare and that solved all our problems. Now let's use the same blueprint and solve the sentencing problem.
