Thanks for Coming to the Senior Citizens Expo

Thank you to everyone who came out for this year’s Senior Citizens Expo at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. I appreciate all of the vendors who were there to share information about their programs and services, and I hope our senior citizens, their family members and caregivers found the event helpful. Be sure to mark your calendars for a second expo on Friday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 1p.m. at the Roulette Fire Hall. I’ll also be at Rep. Kathy Rapp’s expo in Kane on Friday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Kane Community Center on Fraley Street.

To take advantage of this promotion, use the code “SAVE2DAY” when prompted during the enrollment process. Families will also have a chance to win one of five $529 college savings accounts by registering at by Sept. 30.

Pennsylvania’s 529 College Savings Programs allow taxpayers to save for college tax free along with a number of other financial incentives. Those incentives vary depending on the type of 529 plan selected. For additional information or to enroll in the program, click here.
