3 northwestern Pennsylvanians being monitored for Ebola

3 northwestern Pennsylvanians being monitored for Ebola

Three Pennsylvanians being monitored for Ebola are from the northwestern part of the state, but not from Erie County, according to county health officials.

The people being monitored were passengers on a flight Monday from Cleveland to Dallas that included a Dallas nurse later diagnosed with the deadly viral disease.

"I was notified by the (Pennsylvania Department of Health's Bureau of) Community Health Systems that they were from northwestern Pennsylvania," said Melissa Lyon, director of the Erie County Department of Health. "If they would have been from Erie County, they would have informed me of that."

State health officials did not disclose the three passengers' hometowns during a news conference this morning in Pittsburgh.

I wouldn't travel too far in the near future and if so have plans incase the government closes the transportation grid.

Be safe, keep healthy.

Yes lets keep everything a secret. Just wonder what else isn't told.

WASH, WASH, WASH. Do not touch your eyes, nose, mouth until you wash. Carry hand sanitizer and use it every time you touch something someone else may have touched. Esp. in hosp and dr office. We do not need to panic, but we do need to be cautious.
