Coudersport Library Fundraiser "Books Unlimited Gala Fundraiser"

Coudersport Library Fundraiser "Books Unlimited Gala Fundraiser"

Reverend Evon Lloyd is pictured donating her beautiful original painting done in acrylics, "Lake Erie Sunset," to Librarian Keturah Cappadonia. The painting will be auctioned off at the Coudersport Public Library's upcoming 29th annual Books Unlimited Gala fundraiser on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Coudersport Consistory. Rev. Lloyd, a local minister and artist, is one of the many talented local artists who displays and sells works of art at the Potter County Artisan Center located on North Main Street in Coudersport.

There will be numerous exciting items donated by generous merchants, craftspeople, and individuals, including furniture, quilts and afghans, works of art, antiques, fun and fabulous gift baskets, gift certificates, delicious home-baked treats, and so much more available to bid on in the live and silent auctions and to win in the raffles.

The Books Unlimited Gala fundraiser will start off with browsing, socializing, and cocktails. It will continue with heavy hors d’oeuvres and delicious desserts, intermingled with door prizes and fund raising events of auctions and raffles. Tickets for the Gala cost $30 and are available from members of the Library Board, Friends, or at the Library. Please call the Coudersport Library at (814)274-9382 for additional information.

You little knew that morning God would call his name. In life you loved him dearly, in death you do the same. It broke your hearts to lose him but he did not go alone. For part of you went with him, the day God called him home. He left you peaceful memories and his love is still your guide. And though you cannot see him, he is always at your side. Your family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

I bet more people would attend if the price were lower, $30 person is pretty pricey!
