Too bad the residents of Emporium are not even told what was stolen.

pretty sure it wouldn't be to hard to figure out what was taken with all the bust going down within that time

More likely he got to close to where the drug problem is and it was either resign or be fired. The problems is higher up the ladder then most people realized, Emporium boro had a great officer that was close to naming names and poof he was gone. The drug problem is not on the streets, its in the white castles and State barracks.

11:56 its not ALL police. Some have been there for a long time and are very good people. I agree with you that you cant trust some but by no means are all bad. Its just a shame some have to suffer because of the stupidity of others.

Quit acting like such dilldines and wait until the information comes out. Not fair to be speculating.

That's because the ones that have been there turn there backs and let things go on and when someone comes in and is doing the right thing the r forced to leave... why do u think emporium has lost 3 with in years of eachother...there is a drug problem higher up than most want to believe

Yea the problem isn't the cops its the system. They arrest someone for drugs and they get a slap on the wrist and are back out in 2 years! Common its the Cops? Yeah they are all sitting around the office trying to figure out who gets to get the next fix. I hope you people are not really that crazy! If your look for people to blame, blame the judicial system not the Police officers!

They need to bring an educated chief in from down state to clean this mess up.

A town has to pay more then the minimum pay rate to get a good chief. After so many have left one would think that the powers that be would learn that lesson.

The state police are no different in cameron county , it has always been a R and R for anyone sent there. It,s pretty bad when the state police are called to remove one of the commishoners from trespassing on the District Magistrates property ,some people think they are above the law!

Well now, Its about time someone wakes this little coumty up. Now then if they just keep on going and pay attention to a couple other ones up there in that building ( another officer thats been there awhile and also works as full time sheriff ) and some that just work and give the orders on who to fire and who not to fire, and turn a blind eye to things their "buddies" do.They sit there in their office and get away with everything and that goes to "their buddies" from the mayor right down to the counsil" The mayor is to control this , so its time he stands up and do some house cleaning thats way over due.Because I have seen some good people fired and pushed out of this whole building, just because they did their job right ,or that they just wasn't kissing the right persons - - - .

So what your saying is the sheriffs crooked as well?

This blog is starting to get very interesting.......................Is there anyone in the Boro of Emporium that holds a Boro office position trust worthy?

From what 12:21 says the drug problem starts with the mayor and trickles down to the cops. lol I believe this person bumped his/her head a few times! What the problem is that the police make a arrest. The collect evidence, get statements and start to build a case. They put all the man hours in to find the person guilty then the lawyers make a plea bargain! The guilty party narcs on some friends and gets 1 year and is back out dealing or doing whatever again. I mean correct me if I'm wrong but that's the way I see it.

Now wait a minute...u said the drug problem starts with the mayor? Our mayor is like 90 years old. Seriously..that's just stupid.
