The weather is pretty fierce in Alaska right now. I think we need to nestle in and get ready for those dancing snowflakes coming our way. It's rutting season so be on the lookout for those pesky 4 footed reindeer. So sorry to here about your truck Mickey.....

One of our own is back on American soil and on her way home, welcome back Tonya Salada.

The OV Middle school will be holding a Sadie-Hawkins dance on Friday night the 14th of November at 7:00 pm.

Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 the Portville Drama Club will be performing " Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Tickets are $5.00 at the door at Portville Central School in Portville, N.Y.

The ladies at St. Teresa's will holding a Bazaar Friday and Saturday stop in and see them.

Though they got an earlier start this year, it's fall again and stop in and enjoy a Fish fry cooked by our own lodge members at the Masonic Hall on Friday nights from 4-7. 

Let's not forget the the wonderful Sunday morning breakfasts at the American Legion Post, I'm partial to the sausage and French toast breakfast myself, those folks start at 7:30.

Congrats to our special Olympians for earning God Medals in bowling look for an upcoming story and pics in upcoming weeks.

Welcome home Kelly Simon and happy anniversary, nestle in and enjoy your those little boys of yours and that husband. We are all so happy to have you safely home from Afghanistan. The second deployed solider to come back in 2 weeks.

OV Art Club begins their "Licked Design" fund raiser. They will be selling NANI POPS specially designed lollipops to raise money for a trip to NYC to check out the art world. Contact Lyznie Rinamon the art teacher at the high school or a club member like maybe Noah Howard.
