2 Vehicle Crash On Looker Mountain Trail

At 4:42 PM on Saturday, Rew Fire Rescue and Bradford EMS dispatched to Looker Mountain Trail on the Bradford side near the top on the sharp turn for a 2 vehicle head-on accident. 3 patients are reported. One person is reported to be entrapped in the vehicle.

#206-12/20/2014. Last Evening @ 1701hrs Station 11 (Derrick City) was dispatched for Rescue to assist Station 8 (Rew) and Station 9 (Otto Twp) for a 2 car head on MVA w/ entrapment & injuries on Looker Mountain Trail near the intersection of rt 246 & rt 646. Rescue 111 (Chief 11-20) and Engine 113 (Ch.11-10) responded with crews and assisted with extrication and patient care. Station 11 Fire Police also assisted with traffic control as the road was shut down for approx 3 hrs due to road conditions and for the Safety of all emergency personnel working the incident. Road was open back up shortly after 2000hrs.

That hill and Red Rock hill are so dangerous because almost everyone is travelling too fast for the curves and can't stay in their own lane!! I have traveled both hills for 30+ years and almost every day I could have been in a head-on because the other guy was in my lane..... SLOW down people, save a life, it may be your own!
