Margaret C. “Peggy” Schweinberg, 89, of Bradford, PA

Margaret C. “Peggy” Schweinberg, 89, of Bradford, PA, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

She was born on May 19, 1925 in Bradford, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rena Carbogno Costanzo.

She was a 1943 graduate of the St. Bernard School.

On June 16, 1951 in the St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church she married James S. Schweinberg; who preceded her in death on May 18, 1975.

She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church.

She was employed by Prudential Insurance Co. as an underwriter from 1943 until 1973.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Schweinberg of Bradford and Peter (Sharon) Schweinberg of Lewis Run; two daughters, Clare Pusateri of Bradford and Rena (Patrick) Flynn of Allegany, NY; one sister, Joan (Gerald) Hanna of Rochester, NY; seven grandchildren, Maureen (Patrick) Kuciewski, Meghan (Anthony) Lama, Colleen (Paul) Roche, Bridget (Timothy) Horan, Mollie Flynn, Christopher (MaryAnn) Tingley and Jennifer Tingley; several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, John Schweinberg, an infant son; grandson, David Pusateri; two sisters, Bette Henchy and Norma Macfarlane and one brother, Joseph C. Costanzo.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:30 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Collins as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her name can be made to St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 15 St. Francis Drive, Bradford, PA 16701, Friendship Table, 21 East Corydon St., Bradford, PA 16701 or the American Cancer Society, 26 South Second St., Suite 102, Clearfield, PA 16830.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
