Catholic Men’s Fraternal Club (CMF) of St. Marys Donates To Early Intervention Program

The Seneca Highlands Intermediate Unit Nine Early Intervention program provides educational services to children with special needs in Cameron, Elk, Potter and McKean counties. They provide services to children in their homes, at private preschools, at Head Start and at area Child Cares. The Intermediate Unit also operates several preschool classrooms in St. Marys.

As many of you are aware, there have been budget issues in education over the past few years and more specifically with the Early Intervention (EI) program. We have been working closely with school districts and community organizations to share resources and stretch our dollars so that we can successfully educate young children and make sure that we can provide the best possible beginning for them. In this day and time, it truly does “take a village.”

We are so thankful for organizations like, the Catholic Men’s Fraternal Club (CMF) of St. Marys for their interest in helping us help the children. We thank them for their monetary donation to the Early Intervention program. It will assist us in purchasing needed supplies for the children.

The Early Intervention staff would like to thank the Catholic Men’s Fraternal Club for their generosity. A special thank you goes out to the Officers and Board Members not present. Officers not present: Mike Kronenwetter, President, Russ Hanes, Vice President, Ed Herbstritt, Secretary. Board Members not present: Steve Kronenwetter, Cliff Pfoutz, Pete Fledderman, Charlie Haberberger and Sig Engelbert.
