This is B.S, you cops need to do your job and not arrest every and anything you can.

They didn't arrest anyone, they charged them with violating the law. That is their job, to enforce the law. What don't you understand about that?

Glad to see I'm not the only one that has to correct my writing of 2015 lol

Well, when you see reports like this.. You can tell their job isn't to enforce the law, but generate revenue.

Large county, small amount of police. Constantly having to go to false alarms takes them away from actual important things, not to mention I'm sure it's annoying as hell. After the first or even the second false alarm, the business should want to get their alarm system corrected because there is obviously problem. Not hard to understand the police don't want to waste their resources on businesses that are being negligent.

Well to the ones who are bitching about this, if they are being called for false alarms how are they able to respond to a REAL crime. That institution is not a saint, they are out for the revenue as well! Maybe they should take the time to make sure their security system is working properly!

Maybe they are in need of a new updated system?

Can you imagine rushing all the way to Austin for a false alarm !

In PA you are allowed 3 false alarms within a 12 month period. Once you hit the 4th(within a 12 month period), you get a fine.

If you think the law is silly, then fight to get it changed. I'm sure the local police could care less if 3 false alarms result in a fine,, or if 10 false alarms result in a fine. They are just doing the thankless job they signed up for. Why can't you people see that?
