Injection Well Lawsuit Could Bankrupt Rural Township In PA

Anonymous said...

The James City, Highland, Lamont area is a beautiful area. Full of streams, springs and woods. Seems hard to believe that as 'wet' as that area is that injecting anything into the ground wouldn't eventually make its way to the surface and the water runoff.
That whole area is a watershed that feeds or flows south to major waterways and major cities and populated areas. It is the watershed of Pennsylvania.

they might want to try contacting some anti-fracking organization with a legal dept and see if they can get help.
injection wells are suspected in causing hundreds of earthquakes in Texas and Oklahoma in normally fault-free areas.
I've read some of the EPA permitting for these wells in Pa.
They pretty much just rubber stamp them and cite questionable references when they do.

A no win situation here. Either give in and let us kill you or we'll bankrupt you and your citizens will have to move away because they won't be able to afford the taxes for the lawsuit.

Owning land in Pennsylvania has become one of the stupidest moves, an average person can make. We lived here because we want to raise our children in a CLEAN, safe environment. Often, our air quality's in the "orange" zone. Even NYS having a fracking moratorium, they still take 100's of 1000's of tons of PA's radioactive frack waste into their land fills. We're currently searching for relocation as our neighbors leased their land to a gas company who ruined all of the neighbors water and 1 neighbors cattle all died, one by one .It's beyond criminal to destroy this beautiful land of Pennsylvania. It will never be the same, again. With 2 children with severe asthma our family doctors been advising living in an area with better air quality. Just sickening. Pa's already too polluted to sustain good health. The masses must suffer while the few get rich from forever ruining our home.
