Maybe if that road had been plowed this wouldn't have happened.

Maybe if the driver who caused the wreck knew how to drive this wouldn't have happened.

Yeah, and the detour down Rt 321 wasnt plowed for four hours AFTER this wreck. Surprised there wasn't another wreck on that road.

Im watching you said...

Thank you PennDot for not plowing for 8 hours after the storm was over. Way to save money for the tax payer.

You people are idiots??

Why?

So what. If the road isn't plowed, or its ice.. Drive accordingly. You can still drive without wrecking no matter what the conditions are. The driver that caused this wreck was obviously too inexperienced on bad roads.

Fed Ex is not going to hire inexperienced or unqualified drivers, the roads were not maintained properly and that's a fact.

Seriously? This was PENNDOT's fault? Look at those roads, it's not as if there were 2' of unplowed snow. It's still winter, UNFORTUNATELY, if you do not know how to drive on RURAL- snow covered roads, then you shouldn't be on them. FED EX can hire all the professionals they want to hire, if you are in experienced driving on our type of roadways, that twist and wind through the mountains, this can happen. PLUS even the most experience drivers can still have accidents if the conditions are like what we had that day. Plow or put down material? If they did both then the "taxpayers" would bitch because they were plowing off the material that had just been put down. Sometimes the best treatment is common sense. Why is it that most of the people that take the time to respond to news stories only do so in order to place blame on someone. Why not, "THANK YOU first responders for all that you do, for responding to scenes such as this and keeping the general public safe"?
