No catch and release for me, I'm going to keep them ALL before the next winter kills them.

What (chemicals, temp) or who (DEP, Fish and Game, Gas workers, Gov) killed them? You sure you want to catch and eat them all before next winter?

OMG STOP THE FRACKING!!!!

great

That's the spirit, 6:18. Kill ALL the breeding stock so there are none left for next year. Nice.

interesting I didn't know fish just died in the winter? I've never seen such a thing...

7:55 you are an idiot. It's simple ice covers pond no oxygen = death

always one selfish person.

Stop the fracking?? DEP won't have anyone else to harass!

Probably global warming. Or were they forced start saying climate change . I wonder what it will be called in 5 years. Undocumented weather!!!

this is fairly common.
we had a kill on our pond also. the ice can freeze nearly to the bottom in shallow ponds, and the ice cover began early and ended late.

catch and release is a good idea.

something smells fishy in Alma.....

Catch and release is stupid. Catch and eat makes more sense.

That doesn't look like winter kill. Closer inspection of the fish shows trauma. This is that result of explosives being detonated in the pond.

Oxygen depletion, that's all it is people. It happened in 2009. There was no Explosives on alma pond, The lake will recover as it always does. fracking. Lol. Maybe loggers did it . Or maybe all the cigarette butts did it. Or maybe marijuana did it .we better call PETA. WOW get a life

Reality here: The pond froze over with ice close to 3 ft thick, then we got 2 ft of snow . Light can not penetrate to the plant life which in turn causes the plants to die which in turn depletes the oxygen level to zero choking out most if not all animal life [fish].
No fracking or loggers were the cause. Keeping any fish this year could crush the chance of the lake [pond] coming back.
