Leonard C. Mahon, 88, of, Roulette, PA, died Thursday (April 16, 2015) in the UPMC Hamot, Erie.
He was born Feb 22, 1927 in Wharton Twp., a son of Alonzo and Gertrude Dow Mahon. On March 5, 1947, in, Niagara Falls NY, he married Edna Austin, who survives.
US Army Veteran

Mr. Mahon attended Wharton Schools and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. Mahon was a rigger in the gas fields and later employed by Pierce Glass Co. until his retirement..

He was a member of the Moose Lodge # 460 and the VFW Post # 6392 both of Port Allegany

In addition to his wife, he is survived by

Three daughters: Cheryl Shall of Neptune Beach, FL, Kristine (Eric) Landes of Roulette, PA, Alice (Dana) Burgett of Austin, PA

Four sons: Donald (Rita) Mahon and Gerald Mahon both of Roulette, PA, Terry Lepold of Nottingham, PA, Leo Lepold of Lufkin, TX

38 Grandchildren, 71 Great grandchildren and 23 Great great grandchildren

Three sisters: Jean Nasto of Port Allegany, PA, Beverly (Nathan) Luce of Birmingham, AL, Gloria (Paul) Jones of OH.

Three brothers: Ernie (Ginger) Mahon of Cuba, NY, George (Janet) Mahon and Russell (Donna) Mahon both of Coudersport, PA

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sons; Leonard "Tuffy" Mahon, Richard Lepold, and Rocky Mahon, one daughter Rosanne Sherwood, one brother Fred Mahon and one sister Alma Fowler.

Following Leonard’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services at this time.
