I'd be interested to know how your past experience qualifies you for this position? I understand that as a business owner, you have to be frugal, and wise with your spending. (Something our small township requires now and more than ever.)

Our current township paid SERVANTS are purchasing equipment and material that, A. They are not qualified to operate. B. Placing material on particular roads and sections of road that does no good or is desperately needed in other sections of the very same road.

As our taxes increase and township fleet expands...I would expect the quality of dirt roads, ditches, and sluice pipes to improve. Not go backwards, not stay the same, but improve.

We had a particularly hard winter which took a heavy toll on our roadways. However, two sticking points, Kings Run and Taylor Brook. It is apparent where, not only prep work can be done for drier weather, but some relief provided for residents who have to drive these roads on a daily basis. They're atrocious and this is not new news. This is a common occurrence.

I don't doubt your credentials for managing the bureaucracy, paperwork, and personnel of a business. I would like to know how you plan to qualify someone (anyone) to run a grader, use equipment, and material(s) in the most efficient manner possible. And as a Democratic candidate, are we going to see the same "tax and spend" mentality that so commonly goes along with that label? Are you going to approach this position as humble paid servant of the taxpayer or self-important and patronizing? Lastly, we need no additional regulations, permits, blessings to do with our properties as we see fit, or any other type of infringement.

We're a small community, living within our means. We need no more financial burden than what we have historically had and what's been piled on after the last elections.
