Penn State Extension: 2015 Rabies Clinic Schedule

The 2015 Rabies Clinic schedule has been finalized for the following Potter County communities this summer:

Coudersport - Saturday, June 20th, 1-6 pm @ Courthouse Gazebo

Galeton – Saturday, July 18th, 1-4 pm @ Park Gazebo

Ulysses – Saturday, August 15th, 1-4 pm @ Tri-Town Fire Hall

Shinglehouse – Saturday, September 12th, 1-4 pm @ Park Gazebo

Please note the extended time frame for the Coudersport clinic in the hope we can serve Austin and Roulette customers with their animals.

All dogs, cats, and ferrets that are at least 12 weeks old can be vaccinated against the rabies virus. The first time a dog or cat receives a vaccine, it is good for one year. Each time after that, the vaccination is good for three years. Ferrets must be vaccinated annually.

All animals attending the clinics must be on a leash or in a container. Cost is $5.00 per animal. The clinic is sponsored by Dr. Lindsay Schwartzmeyer of the Coudersport Animal Health Center.
