Oswayo Valley Memorial Library News

100th Anniversary: 2015 is the 100th anniversary of the Oswayo Valley Memorial Library. In 1915 the Shinglehouse Woman’s Club established a public library and free reading room. As a thank you to our patrons who support the library, the Library Board is sponsoring a monthly thank you raffle. Each month, beginning in January 2015 and ending in December 2015, a different raffle will be featured. All registered patrons will be entered once. Patrons will earn an additional entry each day that they use the library. The monthly drawing will take place on the LAST Friday of each month at 5:30 p.m. After the December drawing, a grand prize thank you drawing will take place. The winner of July’s raffle was Sadie Mix.

Superintendent Meet and Greet: You're invited to a meet and greet with Oswayo Valley's new Superintendent Dr. Michele S. Hartzell on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Please join us as we welcome Dr. Michele S. Hartzell to the Oswayo Valley. Dr. Hartzell will be reading a book at 6:30 P.M. in the OV Memorial Library to the children in attendance. The first 20 children to sign out a book from the library will receive a fifty cent coupon for Nanipops that can be used that evening. We hope you and your family can come out for this fun-filled event and meet OV's Superintendent!
