Stealing is wrong, but these game cameras are out of control. way too many of them out there. If you are a real hunter, get out there and scout and hunt.
Its kind of like having someone place a hidden camera in your home,. when you are in the woods you expect solitude, peace, safety, seclusion, not some voyeur pervert.
I don't really blame people for disabling, stealing, and for 'real hunters' shooting these cameras . I might do the same , but I am a hiker. People who use these cameras are just lazy and are definitely not 'hunters'. Just like using a crossbow.

Isnt it tied down to an IP address that can be tracked?

7:03, these cameras are put up to keep people off our property, this way we can see if they're on our property, if someone gets hurt on our property we are reliable even if it's posted, not everyone uses them to scout deer, we pay taxes on our land n we do NOT want people on it. DUMPING gatbage, riding ATV'S, ripping it up n then we have to go repair the damages they have done, we are not lazy people, we work every day n I'll be dammed if I'll have welfare people destroying OUR property while we are working, and it is our business if we want as many cameras on our property as we want !!! I pick up garbage almost everyday off my property, they throw out baby dispers, beer cans, toilet seats, microwaves
Pop cans, cig wrappers, pizza boxes so we have a right to put up all the cameras we want !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!',

7:03, you're an idiot. Game cameras are not for "lazy hunters". If you had any clue about hunting, then you would know that trail cameras are used IN ADDITION TO the normal scouting practices. Do you really think that people just waltz into the woods and stick it on a tree and say "this should be good". It takes effort to place the cameras in a spot where you feel there are deer travelling, and the cameras just help to validate the efforts of the hunter if they get some pictures of deer on them. Your comment about expecting peace, solitude, etc. while you are in the woods, not "some voyeur pervert" just shows your complete ignorance. Who, other than a mentally unstable person, would even come up with a statement like that? If you think people are putting game cameras out to take pictures of you, you are a sad soul and you need help. Since you are a "hiker", and not a hunter, I assume you don't purchase a hunting license, and therefore have no monetary contribution to the state lands that you are likely hiking and in your eyes, being peeped at. Do us all a favor and stay out of the woods so that we as hunters can "enjoy solitude, peace, safety, and seclusion" without having to deal with you and your ridiculousness. SMDH
