FAA: Drones Required To Be Registered After December 21st

FAA: Drones Required To Be Registered

According to the statute, any owner who previously operated an unmanned aircraft prior to Dec. 21 is required to register his or her craft by Feb. 19 of next year. As of Dec. 21, registration is required before any UAS use.

Registration will be good for three years. Registrants must be 13 years or older, and won’t need to enlist more than one time within the validation period, according to the release.

Starting Dec. 21, the FAA is waiving the $5 registration fee for 30 days in order to encourage as many people as possible to register with the new program.

Sounds like the government wants control of who has them and where!

We used to call them model airplanes, then helicopters came along (remote controlled) and everything was ok and people had fun.. Now they're 'drones' and you have to have a license, . the Napoleon complex is taking over the country.

My wife and I will shoot down the spy drones flying our acreage. No one has any business flying camera equiped drones over our private property, it is an invasion of our privacy, same as a peeping tom. Buck shot rules!

This is all about one thing, to prevent the average joe citizen from having the capability to contact and communicate with Aliens. Up until now the average citizen stood on the ground and witnessed or interacted with Aliens from a distance. Now, with drones we can potentially go TO them. The average UFO (92% of sightings)is said to be more than 1 mile high. With drones, everyone has the ability to have a Close Encounter of the Third Kind with Aliens of the remaining 8%,. The government cannot allow this. Its just a matter of time until the government prohibits drones from being able to fly more than 1000Ft. high. Until then I urge every one of you, with the resources to acquire a drone, to use them to make contact with Alien ships. Use the code or 'language' that all UFO watchers know, Its universal.

4:37, I agree 100%. These people calling themselves "pilots" flying these toys need to grow-up. Its a freakin' TOY! Fly it over my house and I'll shoot it down too.
I think cameras should be illegal on drones. And lets stop calling them drones, they are toy helicopters.
What really cracks me up is when I see a picture of someone flying a drone and they are wearing a flight suit, like a pilot would wear. What does that say about these idiots.

Has any one operating a drone seen a BIGFOOT yet. If they can contact aliens like poster 5:04 believes, then why cant we locate a BIGFOOT. Food for thought people. Have a swell day!

People worried about drones spying on them? LMAO... our government can look right in your windows with satellites, watch you on the toilet from their helicopters... drones are the least of your worries.

By the way, within 10 years the government will have insect-sized drones and they WILL be spying on you. That "fly on the wall"? Yea, really gives it a whole new meaning when the fly is actually recording you.
