Upper Allegheny Watershed Association Receives Grant From Dominion Foundation

Jim Mesloh, (L) of the Dominion Foundation, awards Frank Weeks of the Upper Allegheny Watershed Association a grant for Organizational Promotion and Outreach.
The grant of $1200.00 will be used to print and mail newsletters, brochures and calendars to our members and the general public.

The UAWA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection, improvement and preservation of a healthy watershed for present and future generations.

The funds were provided by the Dominion Foundation and administered by the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy under the Dominion/WPC Mini-Grant Program. This program offers funding to watershed organizations in central and western Pennsylvania for general operating expenses, organizational promotion and outreach, and restoration projects.

The Dominion Foundation is dedicated to the economic, physical and social health of the communities served by Dominion companies. The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy’s core mission is conserving Pennsylvania’s diverse ecosystems through science-based strategy, leadership and collaboration. For more information contact:
