Mansfield Police Arrest Man With Hatchet Making Threats

MPD responded to the 200 block of Brooklyn Street at approximately 1600 Hours for a harassment complaint. After arriving on scene the actor continued in efforts of threats and obscenities towards the reporting party. At which point the actor then grabbed a hatchet and began swinging said hatchet in a cutting motion while approaching the RP's property. (which yelling at the RP to come over). Officer Earp intervened and requested additional units from MUPD. The individual was taken into custody without incident. Said individual was remanded to the Tioga County Prison on charges for Terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of a crime, and harassment.

Hey 9:30... There's a reason for background checks. This is one of them. IF this idiot had a gun, this would have turned out much differently. Like people getting killed.
