Philip E. Bauder, 77, of Shinglehouse PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. 

Vietnam War Veteran
 Born April 6, 1938 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Felix and Marie Bauder. 

Philip was a Veteran having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. 

He was married to the former Linda Rogers of Shinglehouse, who survives. 

He was a car salesman and a heavy equipment mechanic who enjoyed tinkering and fixing anything and especially loved cars. 

In addition to his wife, Linda Bauder, he is survived by three daughters, Tina and Marie Bauder, both of Shinglehouse, and Susan (Kenneth) Ryan, Charleston, SC; three grandchildren; a brother, Joseph (Catherine) Bauder, Huntingdon Valley, PA; a sister, Kathleen Long, Feasterville, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Philip was predeceased by a sister, Eileen McGrath.

Friends may call on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 10:00-11:00am at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Shinglehouse. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00am with the Rev. Tom Brown as Celebrant. Military Honors will be accorded by the Potter County Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Galeton, PA.
