Man steals and sells father's guns for cash

JOHNSONBURG – A St. Marys man has been jailed for stealing and selling his father’s guns, police say.

Scotty Robert Fidler, 22, 352 Spruce St., St. Marys, is charged by Johnsonburg police with theft by unlawful taking and burglary. Charges were filed Monday with District Judge James Martin of Johnsonburg.

According to an affidavit of probable cause obtained from Martin’s office Wednesday, police say a man residing at an apartment at 1058 E. Center St. in Johnsonburg contacted them about stolen firearms, including a Fox model B shotgun and Topper model 58 30/30 cal.

The man told police he believed his son, Scotty Fidler, had taken the guns and sold them at Elk County Ammo & Arms in St. Marys.  Read more...

Even if I didn't have a job, I wouldn't steal. That is called morals, and not Obamas fault. You can get 2 jobs if you have too!

Stealing from his fathe, those guns will never be replaced, it doesn't mater if you have or don't have a job, you don't steal period.......especially from your own father,the kid apparently doesn't want to work,n if he did he'd be working not stealing!
