Looks like we are going to have apples this year as the apple blossoms are everywhere. District Boys Baseball Game is here tonight, May 26, at 4:30 against North Clarion for the District 9 Play-off Game. Other School News: Oswayo Valley School Board Directors approved on May 9, 2016 the 2017 preliminary budget in the amount of $7,945,207.00 with the use of $129,680.00 from the fund balance. WOOHOO! Great Big THANK YOU to the Norton Charitable Trust for their grant awarding T.R.A.C.K. $80,000. This grant money will be applied to work on the new track that is scheduled to start after school closes. They still need to raise money to resurface the track. They thank everyone for their support. See more next week in this column on this project.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE & CEMETERY SERVICES: The town parade will be Monday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. with Maple Grove and Town Cemetery flag recognition and ceremony to follow immediately. If it rains there will be a Memorial Ceremony at Assembly Park Pavilion at 10:00 a.m.
