I am a friend of Denny wood. I knew denny from when he lived in Buffalo he was one of the best guitar players that ever were. The group of us when we were younger all hung out together in the Allentown area of Buffalo Denny was one of us I was a singer back then. I know that he passed in 2009 but I have never known what caused his death. If anyone can respond back and let me know I would be grateful and I will pass it on to his other friends here in the Buffalo area thank you

Denny Wood a/k/a "Patches" was a man who lived in Coudersport and was well-known for his "trippy" personality. He could often be spotted in the middle of the intersection looking at the bottom of his feet while carrying a white grocery bag.

He's a local legend, and was so before he passed.

Probably the best tale is that he was signed by a major record label and the man he beat for the guitar part put LSD into his drink at the celebration party out of envy and spite, thus causing Denny's "trippy" state.

He also liked to keep his change in a white envelope with powdered soap.

CDC has stated that 4 out of 5 opiate addicts become hooked because of legally prescribed drugs. Legal speed is regularly prescribed to kids, disguised as ADD/ADHD/Antidepressant medicines. The guys in the white lab coats don't look like this guy BUT they're a thousand times more dangerous. It's easily confirmed that the US medical system is at least, the #3 killer of US citizens. Many researchers disagree & insist that the US medical system is the #1 killer of Americans. Doesn't this dude know that you have to go to college, earn a doctorate then you sling the dangerous drugs? Think I'm exaggerating? Try searching 'death by medicine' & 'US medical system, #1 killer of Americans' Pharmaceutical companies being the most evil and dangerous ,greedy psychopath's known to man. Try searching "Oxycontin cartel". The REAL problem is the main cause of drug dependence; Doctors & pharmaceutical companies. Propublica has a page with a search engine that contains all US drs names and their associations with getting 'kickbacks' from pharma companies for prescribing their dangerous chemicals. It's called 'Dollars For Docs' if you'd like to search your doctor's name. Drug addiction
MUST be tackled from all angles. Taking this 1 small-potatoes-dealer off of the street won't fix anything.
