Mary J. Mayer, 67, of Looker Mountain Trail, Bradford, PA, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born March 31, 1949, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Jean (Kinney) Green.

Mary attended Port Allegany schools.

On June 7, 1980, in Port Allegany, she married Kevin A. Mayer who survives.

She was a member of Custer City United Methodist Church. Mary loved to spend time tending to her gardens and bird watching.

Surviving in addition to her husband Kevin of 36 years, are three daughters, Lisa (Brad) Canfield, of Greenville SC, Lorangelia Brown, of Thomasville NC, and Kendra (Scott) Borneman, of Simpsonville SC, two brothers, Phillip (Harvetta) Green, of Kane and Leon (Brenda) Green, of Port Allegany, four grandchildren, Tristan Mikhail, Kevin Cornelius, Anthony Work, and Samantha Borneman, three great grandchildren, Izabella Mikhail, Casey Cornelius, and Emma Cornelius, and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.

At the family's request there will be no public visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of family at Custer City United Methodist Church with Rev. Beth Rosler, Associate Pastor, officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
