Wasil Mauser, the new proprietor has asked our assistance in finding photographs to help him in his quest to restore the grand old Victorian. Our files have a few but we know that many of the folks in the area have attended weddings, banquets, parties and other social events in the Old Hickory and may have photographs showing the interior of the rooms of the tavern, hall, tea room and other social areas.
You can drop off your photographs for us to scan and return to you or send them with a self addressed stamped envelope to Potter County Historical Society, 308 N. Main St., P O Box 605, Coudersport, PA 16915.
All photographs will be carefully scanned and returned! Thanks in advance to all who want to make this a community effort!

Wow, last time I saw that place it looked very different... it looks beautiful! Always made me sad to see it in such terrible shape!
Does it look like this now?
I am a local Roofing contractor and I have always dreamed of working on it. This place is ready to be fixed up
How nice to see the old photo , and look forward to seeing the restored building.
We do not get by very often, and have not been in the area long enough to have seen it in better condition. But wish new owners all the best with restoration.I hope folks out there can provide some good indoor photos.
