Debbie McConaughey

Debbie McConaughey, 52, of 10240 Wall Street, Mill Creek, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 25, 2016, at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

Born on July 27, 1964, in Tom's River, NJ., she was the daughter of Barbara Kudrick Herzog, of Eldred, and the late Donald Kudrick.

Her husband, Curt McConaughey, whom she married on September 14, 2007, survives at their home.

There are four children:
Tim Linnan and wife Lisa of Brockway
Logan Linnan and wife Bobie of Chubbuck, Idaho
Nichole Benson and husband Mike of Huntingdon
Cecile Fuller and husband Chris of Huntingdon.

Also surviving are the following grandchildren:
Shamus and Hadee Linnan; Michael, Britney, Devin, and Kaci Benson; Ethan, Hannah, Jacob, Carmella, X-Savior, and Kamri Fuller.

Siblings are:
Don Kudrick and wife Kim of Coudersport
Brian Kudrick and companion Deb Dauber of Johnsonburg.

Mrs. McConaughey was a baker who had been employed at Miller's Diner and Hoss's Steak House, both of Huntingdon; and had previously owned and operated the Courtyard Family Restaurant in Smethport. She had also worked at one time for Case Cutlery, in Bradford.

She was of the Catholic faith, graduated from Smethport Jr./Sr. High School in 1982, and was a member of the Captain Jack Lions Club, Mapleton Depot.

She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. 

She will be remembered for helping animals in need and for her love of her pets. She also loved baking, especially for family, including making cookies and whoopie pies. She enjoyed interior decorating in her own home and the homes of others in primitive d├ęcor.

Private funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, with Pastor George “Buddy” Baird officiating.

There will be no public visitation.

Our love to all of you. We enjoyed getting to know Deb when she was out here for Hadee's birth. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed so here in Idaho. God bless each of you. Logan, we send you our love, we are so sorry..
