This workshop addresses the federal requirements by providing supervisory personnel with a working understanding of the federal CDL regulations, including on-the-job- probable cause procedures. In addition to supervisory personnel that are required to attend, all township CDL employees ought to attend this to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding this crucial public safety training.

**Federal and State regulations require that every employer who has CDL employees driving CDL vehicles on public roadways participate in a drug and alcohol testing program. These same regulations also mandate employers to train all personnel who supervise employees who possess a CDL in handling suspected on-the-job drug or alcohol use.**
