KANE WATER TURNS BROWN, SMELLS LIKE BURNT PLASTIC, WATER TANKER BROUGHT IN

I just took these pictures of the water out of my kitchen sink (left) , next to a glass of bottled water. If you're still drinking this shit because they say it's still safe , you need your head examined. The first pic is with no flash. In the second pic, with the flash on, it looks even worse.

Adrielle Cher This water crisis is a result from fracking. This water is permanently destroyed. There is literally nothing we can do, the damage is done, their Natural Gas well mixed
Dimock, PA water after fracking started.
infused with our groundwater source. The only thing we can do is MOVE. There are people all over this Shale region of USA going through this exact same thing. We had the misfortune of experiencing it and it's not safe, it'll pose the threat of long-term health risks if we stay here. It's bullshit that we can't come together as a community and maybe SUE the oil & gas industries for putting us in harms way and totally ruining our water.

This is another sign of Trump's great works. While we're talking about Trump's great works, let's look at the jobs that he's creating with these pipelines. Here's an article about the Keystone Pipeline:

You people need to get over it, if you are against the oil and gas industry please feel free to leave your name and number so we can make sure you are not using gas to heat your home and that you are not driving a car

1:27 Sorry but your argument is invalid, whatever that argument may be. I understand there is a problem with your water? How about looking a little bit closer to home. Hold accountable the State of Pa who lets the drilling companies run amuck. I think accusing Trump as being the source of your problem is rather unrealistic, considering he has been in office for a mere week. I hope the Pipeline gets built so we do not rely on rich murderous Arabs for our energy. If America being self sufficient in the Energy Department is not your idea of a good plan, then move to Alaska and get off the grid. That way your hands are not dirty too.

The issue in Kane is not fracking. Some areas have clear non-smelling water while another one does.

Ummmm......Mr Trump has been in office for two weeks. This has been happening over a period of decades......I don't see ANY correlation between this and anything that Donald Trump has done. Quit being a simpleton.

Not even a week and still bashing our president. He is our president now deal with it. Did more in one week then that Muslim did in eight years.get over it he will make America great again.my water has been brown for hundreds of years.now they have water systems u know that's what I have and now water is clean

When the "elite" give up oil, I will gladly join the cause. Until then, frack away.

Trump won, get over it. As long as we're producing jobs, that's the number 1 priority. 28,000 jobs, 4,000 jobs, both sound great to me... President Trump simply provided alternative facts regarding the job creation from the pipeline E.O.

Ummmm you guys are rediculous. This is not from fracturing a well or any of that. Hell they don't even have any fracturing going on in Kane so can't blame it on that

The fracking comment is a bit of a reach. I'd first take a closer examination of the Kwik Fill incident. For such a major event it seems that United Refinery and the Boro were kind of ho-hum about it. The second area I'd consider before fracking is that the water lines/infrastructure are most likely 80-100 years of age and probably rusting away. I'm not a fracking fan or anything, but immediately blaming that seems to be overlooking other probably contributing factors.

Your water can look like that after a drought, which is what we have had!!

OMG !!! Trump just toke office !! It's NOT the pipelines it's the FRACKING PRACTICE ! I mean really people get your facts straight ! So tired of uninformed people. YES do not drink that water it is full of cancer causing ingredients, to which you will never know the full extent or amounts.

And this is why nothing ever gets done in this country. Everyone blaming each other for natural problems instead of working together to solve them.

Its Climate Change causing this problem. The surface of the earth is warming and the heat (ever so minor) penetrates into the earth and melts the subterranean ice formations deep within the earth. The ice is saturated with bacteria and basically dirt which gets into the water supply and has a brown color. This ice is millions if not billions of years old and is no threat.

They have Ben fracing oil gas wells 40 plus year's now it he'll of a lot safer for us and our environment now than it was 1968 regulations don't allow brine discharge

Amen 8:53 AM, THESE PEOPLE NEED TO GET OVER THEIR LOSS !!!!! IT'S GETTING OLD TRUMP GETTING BLAMED FOR EVERYTHING THAT'S HAPPENED BEFORE HE WAS EVER PRESIDENT !!!!!!! HE'S DONE MORE THAN OBUMA EVER DID IN 8 YRS !!

Most people don't even know that there thousands of old offend oil wells some drilled over hundred years ago than God oil of to day plugging them to protect our water

Anonymous said...

If these people crying about fracing never worked down hole have no idea difference between open hole and case hole so if they want cry let us go back in time to tannerys glass works comical plants u think that wasted Ben cleaned up no way just leaching in water table for last 120 years

Most likely it looks like just a little bit too much JD in that drink to me..
I'm surprised you didn't put a little Coca-Cola in there for a more dramatic effect.

10:36 commenter: in this part of the world there is no subterranean ice to melt.

Trump had nothing to do with franking around here dumbass

Your really need to check your calendar..... Trump's been in office A WEEK.... Tell me how do you equate this crisis to him again?

There doesn't have to be fracking directly in Kane for the water to get contaminated. The whole water table gets contaminated in certain cases. It can't be said for sure that fracking is the cause but it's a damn good guess. The water smelling like burnt plastic is a strong clue that it is fracking chemicals contaminating the water. Quite a few people are employed by the natural gas industry here. That's why you always get jumped on when you bring the subject up. I have family that works in the natural gas industry too but if it's responsible for destroying our drinking water something has to be done.
