Jay Charles McConnell, II, age 26 of Harrison Valley, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at his home. 

 Born February 9, 1991 in Corning, NY, he was the son of Jay C. and Tracey L. (Keeney) McConnell. Jay married Crystal M. Ahearn and worked for his father’s company, Liberty Seamless Gutters.

He loved racing, mudding, snowmobiling, working and tinkering on his truck and most of all spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his wife, Crystal; his children, Jay III and Opal McConnell; his parents, Jay and Tracey McConnell of Harrison Valley; two brothers, James of Ulysses and Jacob of Harrison Valley; a nephew, Jaxton; grandparents, Larry and Yvonne Keeney of Lawrenceville, Gloria Clemens of Tioga and Leon and Vicky Snyder of Ulysses; a special friend, Joe Byler and numerous cousins.

Family will receive friends at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield on Monday, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jason Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Raymond Cemetery in Gold. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for his children; Jay McConnell, 4518 State Rt. 49, Harrison Valley, PA 16927.
