Oswayo Valley Schools Recognized For High Achievement

During the Pennsylvania Federal Programs Conference held in Pittsburgh, the Oswayo Valley Elementary and the Oswayo Valley High Schools were honored and received the designation of Title I High Achievement. To qualify for this distinguished award, the schools met the following criteria: Highest five percent Title I schools based on: combined mathematics and reading proficiency for PSSA and/or Algebra I/Literature for Keystone Exams, meets annual measurable objectives and, is not a priority or focus school.

“Our teachers, administrators, staff, and students work very hard and we are proud to receive this honor,” Dr. Michele S. Hartzell, Superintendent.

6:18 PM: What is the point of bringing negativity to a great honor for our school and community? How about take some pride in the fact that the school regardless of some faculty issues they may have are still education kids at a high level. Congratulations to OV students and thank you to the teachers for the great job you are doing molding our future!

I agree Mr Crum, I'm not from that area, I think it's great that Oswayo Valley was reconciled for HIGH ACHIEVEMENTS, The students & the teachers, administration deserve this recognition, I commend them for their hard work & they need & the community need to be proud of them! They don't deserve any condemnation whatsoever!!!
