PennDOT Cameron/Potter County Maintenance work schedule for the week of April 3-April 7

Coudersport, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Cameron/Potter County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for the week of April 3 to April 7, weather permitting. Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas. Motorists should be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night

Potter County 0260
Sign Crew:
● State Route: sign repairs on various State Routes throughout the County

Ditching:
● State Route: 4014 (Plank Road)

Bridge Flushing:
● Bridge flushing in Coudersport, Galeton & Germania areas

Patching:
● State Route: 0049 (Ulysses area)

Sweeping Roads/Bridges:
● Sweeping roads in Austin, Galeton & Germania areas

Brush Cutting:
● State Route: 4009 (around bridges in Ulysses area)

Cameron County 0240
Pipe Repair/Sweeping:
● State Routes: 0120 & 0872

Crack Sealing:
● State Route: 0120

The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting:

● Glenn O Hawbaker: preparations for roadway reconstruction on Route 6 in Coudersport Borough. There will be short term lane closures and alternating traffic patterns. Expect delays.

● Glenn O Hawbaker: bridge replacement on Route 2001 (Wykoff Run). Road closure with a 38 mile detour in place. (March 27-April 10)

● IA Construction: drainage work on Route 155 from Potter County line (near Sizerville State Park) to the McKean County line. Alternating traffic patterns with temporary traffic signals will be in place with short delays possible.

Down town is going to be areal pain, whats worst is lovers lane, why didn't that get fixed to handle the traffic, trying to travel that is horriable when you have to hit the ditch with pot holes an narrow road,

I heard a rumor that the Fish Commission is going to stock some of the holes on Rt 44 near Shinglehouse.
