Oswayo Valley Memorial Library News

There will be a special Easter Storytime on Wednesday, April 12th, at 6 p.m. Come join us for stories and crafts! Please stop by or call the library at 697-6691 to register your child.

The library will be closed Friday, April 15th, and Saturday, April 16th, for the Easter holiday.

Cooking with Honey: Joan Bradley will be presenting a class about using honey in your recipes on Tuesday, April 25th, at 6:00 p.m. Joan is a member of the North Central PA Beekeepers Association and an avid beekeeper. Please contact the library to register for this free class.
Federal and Pennsylvania tax forms are available at the library.

Educational publisher American Graphics Institute is giving Oswayo Valley library patrons access to its books and curriculum for self-paced learning. The books teach many popular design technology topics ranging from Adobe software applications, digital video editing tools, web design and coding skills, and office applications. The collection serves as self-paced training resources and also include training videos created by the authors as well as lesson files. More than one million of these books are in print, and library patrons and staff can access current and past digital versions of these book titles through the library’s website while on the library’s network.

● Family History Research group & Researching the History of Education in the Oswayo Valley: 2nd Friday of the month, 11:00 a.m.

● Writer’s Guild: 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6:30 p.m.

Audio & eBooks for Download: We have eBooks and audiobooks that are available through our website that you can download onto your eReader and MP3 player. Go to our website www.ovmlibrary.org and click on “Download Books”. You will need your library card number to log in. If you have any problems please call or stop by the library for assistance.

Board of Trustees Meeting: The library board meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.
