Derrick City Responded To Afternoon Crashes On Tuesday

***Afternoon MVA's***
This afternoon at 1558 hours DCVFD was dispatched for a 2 car MVA with injuries in front of Beacon light on East Main Street. Rescue 111 with Chief 1110 & Chief 1120 first arrived on scene reporting a FedEx truck and passenger vehicle blocking traffic, heavy damage w/ 2 patients. Chief 1110 established East Main Street Command. Engine 113 w/ Chief 11 arrived and assisted with debris cleanup. One patient was transported to BRMC. Station 11 Personnel assisted with traffic control as well as offloaded packages from the damaged truck to another FedEx truck. Station 11 (13 personnel) were assisted on scene by Bradford City Ambulance, Foster Township PD, Rain or Shine Towing and Tuna Valley Towing. 

During the incident at 1638hrs Station 11 was also dispatched for another MVA (Traffic Control) at the intersection of Seward Ave & Bolivar Drive. Fire Police Responded. All units and Personnel (13) were clear of both incidents at 1702hrs.

I agree fedex drivers are always racing, I have turned them in before, and the next day right back at it, I saw one coming one day out my road, so I pulled out( plenty of room) went slow came to stop sign, stopped, got out, went back, and told the guy if he ever drove by my house(little kids) like that again, I'd have him arrested, it worked, but I see him down town racing....FEDEX GET THE MESSAGE SLOW YOUR DAM DRIVERS DOWN.....

WHOO said it was their fault we all just said they drive like they are in race car, driving tooooo fast

The very first comment was pretty much blaming the FedEx driver.

It was the fed ex drivers fault. He pulled out of beacon light in front of her. He did not have enough time
