I first met Karen when she was in second grade and I was a new teacher in Port Allegany, across the hall from her homeroom. She and Sharon "stuck out" as very nice, kind girls. They always were friendly with everyone and always smiling. Time has not changed that. I always liked seeing her in the building when she came in, still smiling, still kind, still friendly to work with children. I'm so glad I had the chance to know here. She will be missed.
