Krista Lyman, 69, a long-time resident of Roulette, PA

“beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend” 

Krista Lyman, 69, a long-time resident of Roulette, PA, passed away at UPMC Hamot Medical Center surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 9th, 2017, after a brief illness. 

Born on April 30th, 1948 in Coudersport, PA, she was the daughter of Robert R., Jr. and Mary Ellen Lyman who both preceded her in death.

Krista was a graduate of Port Allegany High School. She was retired at the time of her death, and was a dedicated volunteer librarian at the Roulette Public Library for many years.

She loved animals, plants and was an avid reader as well as a very talented artist. She always had a kind word and a gentle voice, and was loved by all who met her.

Surviving are her three children, Jonathan Huff (Karen Dubots) of Roulette, PA, Edward (Beth) Butner, of Millstone Township, NJ and Michelle Huff (Chris Rivers) of Woodleaf, NC; three grandchildren, Lester Clay Bonney, Tealia Butner, and Jewelia Butner; one great-granddaughter, Kaydence Beaver; a brother, Thomas (Linda) Lyman of Germania, PA; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 17th, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Riverside United Methodist Church on River St. in Roulette, PA. 

Family and friends of Krista are invited to attend. 

The family respectfully requests that no alcoholic beverages be present at the service, however are encouraged to continue her remembrance at Fillhart’s Friendly Inn immediately following the ceremony. 

Private internment will be made in the Lyman Cemetery in Roulette, PA at a later date, to be determined by the immediate family members. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roulette Township Public Library, PO Box 253, Roulette, PA 16746. 

Condolences and fond memories will be received in person at the Life Celebration, or by mailing to:
