Eldred – Oswayo Valley’s ClayCrashers and the Otto-Eldred BirdDawgs combined their talent and efforts recently at the PSSA Colonial Classic for the S.C.T.P. AND A.I.M. State Championships held in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. The Teams placed FIRST and SIXTH in the Open Division of the S.C.T.P. Championships held Saturday June 10th with shooters Corre Smith placing first in High Varsity and Dakota Green placing first in the Junior Varsity Division. Corre Smith also holds the honor of representing Pennsylvania at the upcoming S.C.T.P. Nationals, where the top 5 shooters from each state will tally their scores for the STATE NATIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS. . 

On Sunday June 11th the squads again took the pads to compete for the A.I.M. State Championships. Our youth shooters comprised of Olmstead Jr., Smith, Green, Kisko and Bell took home second place with Smith finishing in the top 5 at 4th place in singles and Jake Bell taking home 2nd place in the handicap event.. The squads will again combine their efforts to compete on July 14 and 15th at Marengo, Ohio’s Cardinal Center for the S.C.T.P. National Championships.

This sport and these student/athletes are amazing. It takes total commitment, focus and concentration that is rare to find these days.
