Crary Hose Company Says Thank You

Crary HoseCompany

We would like to thank everyone for their help at the structure fire at the Dollar General. Special thanks to the Dollar General staff for the great job of getting all the store patrons and themselves out safely. This is highly commendable and you deserve credit for saving at least a dozen lives. It is important that people understand the magnitude of how much worse this could have been.

Thank you to all the mutual aid fire and ambulance companies; Clymer Hose, Knoxville-Deerfield, Harrison Valley, Goodyear Hose, Chatham, Osceola, Middlebury, Troupsburg, Valley Ambulance and Sabinsville Ambulance.

Thank you to Blossburg Fire Dept. for providing the rehab unit and the Tioga County Fire Coordinators for their assistance. Thank you to the Crary Hose Auxilliary for providing refreshments.

A fire such as this leaves a hole in the community. Hopefully Dollar General will rebuild and continue to be an important part of Westfield.

How nice that everyone involved in this horrible fire is given credit for each and everything that was done to prevent a worse disaster. Nice to see nice words for a change, they all deserve it!

I hope the Dollar Store rebuilds, it is nice place to shop and close by, not many stores left in Westfield.
