DCED Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP): Charitable Food Program Tax Credits

DCED Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP): Charitable Food Program Tax Credits
The Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) – offered though the PA Department Community and Economic Development – is a tax credit program to encourage businesses to invest in projects which improve distressed areas. Among the five components of NAP is the Charitable Food Program (CFP), which is designed to help regional food banks or emergency food providers, such as soup kitchens, and any program that provides food to a target population in a distressed area. Funding to CFP is supplied through tax credits given to businesses making contributions to an approved provider. A tax credit of up to 55% can be awarded.

Deadline to apply is Friday, September 29, 2017.
