The Winkler Gallery of Fine Art and Education Center Hosts The October First Friday Event

The Winkler Gallery of downtown DuBois invites community members to attend the "October First Friday” event on Friday October 6, 2017 at the Winkler Gallery of Fine Art located at 36 N. Brady Street, DuBois, PA.

The "October First Friday Event” is free and open to all and will begin at 5:30pm. This will continue the fine art events held on the first Fridays of each month at The Winkler Gallery. The October 6 event will highlight local gallery artists and their wide array of work, including a meet and greet with award-winning Artist of the Month Rev. Kyle Yates.

There will also be a live performance by local folk band Genever who will be performing their self-titled debut album.

Refreshments will be provided for attendees from Aegis Coffee Roasters and The Depot At Doolittle's. A chairlift is available for handicap accessibility.

All donations and proceeds from art purchases will further fund The Winkler Gallery of Fine Art & Education Center, a leading nonprofit provider of art education and enrichment in the area. Those interested in signing up for art classes will have the ability to do so at the October First Friday event as well.
