Thomas G. Grady

Thomas G. Grady, 80, of 94 State Street, Bradford, PA passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born September 26, 1937 in Lackawanna, NY, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Gilmore) Grady.

On August 8, 1964 in St. Bernard Church, he married Pamela (Smith) Grady, who survives.

US Navy Veteran
Mr. Grady was a graduate of Bradford High School. On July 17, 1958, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on July 13, 1962. He also served in The National Guard for 30 years.

Tom had been employed at the A&P Grocery store in both Olean and Bradford for over 30 years. He worked at Bauschard Dodge as a car salesman and then later as a security guard for Pinkerton.

He was a former member of the American Legion and a member of the former Bradford Moose Lodge. He also enjoyed traveling, upholstering and playing piano.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Susan Martin, of Milton; two sons, Michael (Patricia) Grady and James (Danielle) Grady, all of Bradford; seven grandchildren, Daniel Grady, Ian Grady, Brennan Grady, Sara Dewyer, Aaron Bailey Joshua Bailey and Brian Bailey, one great granddaughter, Madison Grady; one brother, John Grady, of Key West, FL and two nephews.

Friends are invited to call from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Monday November 27, 2017 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., where a prayer service will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 28, 2017, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Stanley Swacha, Senior Associate Pastor, as Celebrant. Military Honors and committal services will follow in St. Bernard Mausoleum.
